How do I update the info that is prompted on federal review page.

I am stuck in a page 
it says "Looks like we need more info"
even if you don't do the handmade goods sales work anymore or if this doesn't apply to you, you'll still need to update...
When I click the update now button in that page there is nothing to be updated.

It sounds like you have a Schedule C rolled over from last that you either don't need for this year, or you didn't fully review.

 

To resolve that:

 

 

  1. Open your return and click on Federal on the left.
  2. Click on Income & Expenses.
  3. Click on Edit/ Add to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
  4. This will take you to the Your 2022 self-employed work summary screen. 
  5. You will see a gray bar with your self-employment activity below it. If you don't have income or expenses to report here, click the trash can icon to the right, confirm your delete and return to Review again. 
  6. If you have income and expenses to report here select Edit next to your self-employment entry. 
  7. Answer the  questions until you come to the Here's your (name) info page.
  8. Select Start beside each category to enter your income and expenses.
  9. Keep going until you have answered all of the questions in the section.
