I’m not sure what fee that would be for $25.   Are you using the Online version or the Desktop installed program?  How to review your fees

What?   What $25 charge and what 5 day early are you referring to?  Where are you seeing anything like that?  Please post a link or a screenshot.

Looks like there is a new 5 day early service for a fee but I can’t find out how much the fee is.

How do you cancel the $25 charge, pretty bogus they snuck it in as a signature page right before filing, then there is no option to cancel it

You can remove fees in TurboTax by following these steps:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. On Tax Home, select Start or Continue to enter your return.
  3. Select Tax Tools from the menu, and then Tools.
  4. A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen.
  5. Select My Fees.
  6. Delete any fees you did not use.

If these steps don't work (for example, on your mobile device), go to Tax Home and open the Finish & File section. From there you can review your orders, purchases, and fees.

I selected "No" for the early return, the fee isn't listed in the tax tools, so I'm unable to remove it. How can I remove this fee?

There is a $25 fee for selecting the Early Refund option.  There is also a $25 fee for Efiling a State Return for TurboTax Online, which one are you referring to?

Also, if you selected to pay TurboTax from your Refund, the bank that processes this charges $40 for their service.  You'll see all your fees on the Order Summary page before you Efile.

If you're in TurboTax Online, you can also see your fees by clicking on Tax Tools > Tools, then click on My Fees from the pop-up menu.

If you were charged $25 for the Early Refund Advance and you didn't receive it, you'll get an Email from TurboTax refunding you the $25.

@micmcfadden17

They took $25 from my refund and I don’t even remember seeing the 25.00 when going to check out and efile. I wish I had taken a screenshot like you did because I was under the assumption that I was getting my full refund like usual. I just wanted it to go into my bank account not get deducted $25.
This is very fishy and disappointing. :(

They are tricking us by showing only two options Credit Karma and Early refund. You have to click no thanks to see the other option and avoid the fee.

@SmithA

Ahhhh okay !
Well They definitely got me with those two options >.<  It may be too late for me to be able to get back my $25 since I already got my refund back and they took it. :’( I am definitely contemplating whether I should use TurboTax again or not for the future. This serves another reminder for me to be more vigilant and to review everything much more.
