How do I switch names from mine to my wife for her 1099?

I believe you would have to delete the entry made in your name, then add a new form and type in your wife's name.  Meaning - you can't just edit the name.

You can change it where you entered it.

To return to this section of your return, the steps are below:

• From the left menu, select Federal>Wages & Income>
• Scroll down to the 1099 listed you want to change and click Edit/Add
• At the next screen, there is a place to adjust who the 1099 belongs to:
  • for 1099-INT and 1099-DIV, there is a box to the right of the Received from box: This 1099-INT belongs to... with a drop down menu. 
  • for 1099-MISC, it is a radio button

Want to enter my wife's interest on 2020 form--but  the interest statement I downloaded goes into my Michael S.Katz account not my wife's ==Marcia L. Katz's account

You need to edit the form 1099 entry and on the entry page you will see an option to choose which taxpayer the form belongs to.
