How do I submit my W-2 if box 13 is empty and the website won’t let me skip it?

I was a full time employee with no retirement plan and I took no sick pay but it wants me to check one of the boxes contradicting my form.

The most common issue is a retirement plan. Please check any posting to Box 12. Retirement contribution would be coded with a “D”, or “AA” with a dollar amount next to it. In that case, you did have a retirement account.

Try deleting the W-2 and reentering it manually leaving boxes 12 & 13 completely blank ... that may shake it lose.
