For what? Did you choose to pay your TT fees from a federal refund and then not receive the refund? If so....you agreed that if your refund took too long, TT could take the funds from your account.

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

Thanks for the reply. I have logged onto my account it tells me Intuit is downloading my account history six times at the same time. I have never had any fees or taxes owed deducted from a refund. All payments have been done by credit card not debit card. This all started about one month ago.

Are you using Mint or Credit Karma or Quickbooks Online to manage your personal or business finances? It sounds like the program is trying to update your account status. That sounds more or less normal to me. I use Quicken on my Mac for personal finance and if I wanted to (I don't), it would connect to my bank every time I run the program to look for new deposits and withdrawals. I expect a cloud-based program like that would want to keep itself up to date, especially if there is a smartphone app that is supposed to alert you to new deposits or withdrawals, it has to connect to get that info.
If you never signed up for Mint, Credit Karma, or a similar service to manage your finances, then there is no reason that Intuit would connect to your account except to take payment for a tax service or a subscription service, and that would only be once a month at most, and they don't need your history, just to take a payment.
I do use Quicken for my personal finances and subscribe to the program updates. It is paid once a year by credit card. When I use Quicken I click the button to manually update my accounts. I have never used any other subscription service.
Try searching in the Quicken community forums about this.
I know I had the same issue a couple of years back but I cannot recall the exact steps I took to stop this. Hopefully you will get some clues from the link below.
