You can select Save & Sign Out from the My Account drop-down menu at the top (on mobile devices, tap the upper left corner to open the side menu, swipe down, then tap Save & Sign Out at the bottom).
When you sign out, TurboTax automatically saves your work to their secure servers so you can continue where you left off when you sign back in.
I think the harder question is how to sign out of turbo tax online edition for 2020. There is not log out, only an exit and there is not telling if the updating takes place. I have the home and business edition and i cannot get the updates for the UEC change. Wondering if it is because i cannot sign out
TurboTax Online works best with the Chrome browser. There is a sign Out at the lower left corner. Online saves automatically when you sign out.
The desktop updates for the unemployment income tax withholding changes are not yet ready. To update desktop TurboTax click online at the top of the screen and check for updates.
With desktop it is always a good idea to save your file before you exit. To exit, go to File at the top of the screen and pick exit.
