How do I show proof that I had medical coverage through my job from Jan-Mar? I bought my own insurance from May-Dec. I'm being penalized for 4 months but should only be 1

I entered in all the info from my 1095-A showing I bought coverage from May-Dec but I don't have the option to include the info from my 1095-B form showing I had insurance through my job from Jan-Mar. I only had 1 month (April) with no coverage due to enrollment issues with Covered CA. I don't want to be penalized and owe for 4 months when it should only be 1.

You would use the Health Coverage Exemptions and Individual Shared Responsibility Penalty (FTB 3853) form to report and calculate any penalty due for not having minimum essential coverage throughout the year.
