You do not need to respond to this. Form 1095-C is not entered into the tax return.
It requires me to answer the question otherwise I cannot complete the state filing.
Which state (note that we can't see your private tax data, so you have to help us).
Just making a guess on your state's question, you answer that everyone in your family is covered (assuming that this is true).
If the question you are seeing is:
"Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan"
Answer "No, I didn't receive Form 1095-A"
Form 1095-A is for people who are covered under an Affordable Car Plan.
My company provides me with health insurance and I get the Form 1095-C. So I'm not covered under an Affordable Care Plan.
You would select "No" to the question, "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan." You do not have to enter form 1095-C.

My state is Massachusette and I did answer yes for covered then next question asks what type of coverage and I chose the answer thst includes private since its provided by United Healthcare thru my employer. That creates another series of questions to complete a 1099 C worksheet that references selecting f and g that you don't have a 1099 C but those optiobs do not exist. I checked the box for private but again requires info from a 1099 C which I do not have. Appears to be an error in how the healthcare questions are being asked - never had an issue for 8 years with turbotax until now.
Sorry @khayes3907 ... it might be a Massachusetts thing. In AZ, I just said I was covered & had a 1095-C (not 1095-A) and no further question were asked.
It dies seem to be a MA specific thing as we do have minimum insurance requirements but seems turbotax is not providing any ability to get past not having a 1099 C which is odd.
It's not asking if I have a 1095 A. It's requiring me to complete a 1099 C worksheet after I selected yes for coverage (private).
@khayes3907 I wish I could help you with this. These health insurance questions are all being asked during the MA state tax prep, so I am unable to help. If TurboTax has a help #, call and prepare to wait?
Its nit required to be entered but for MA we do need to report that we have coverage and that is when turbotax seems to get the next series of Qs incorrect.
Switching to another vendor it seems there are a lot of Qs on these healthcare Qs in turbotax.......hmmmm!
There is a place to enter information from your medical insurance card.
The subscriber number should be on your card and the federal ID number should be on their website or available with customer service.
