How do I report stimulus checks I got last year on my tax return?

I got stimulus checks from the IRS last year as well as California stimulus check. How do I report this on my tax return?

In the review section of your Federal return, you will be asked if you received the 3rd stimulus payment and you can enter the information there.  If you have already gone through the review and need to revisit the area, you can use the magnifying glass icon to search "Recovery Rebate Credit" and use the Jump to link to revisit.

For the CA stimulus, you do not need to enter it on your returns.

Federal Stimulus money is not taxable. and you don't report it as income.

Short answer you don't report.

Not completely sure about state stimulus, but also believe it's not treated as income, and you don't report it.

Can someone else confirm on state stimulus?

Can you clarify if you're still talking about CA issued stimulus money?
