How do I report independent contractor income without form 1099?

I received just under $600 from a company in 2016 doing independent contractor work. My understanding is that they do not have to send me a 1099 if it is under $600. How do I report this income in TurboTax?

It would be entered as Business Income on schedule C. Be sure to include any expenses incurred in your contractor work.
