How do I report earnings from yotta savings lottery? I didn't earn $600 for them to bother generating tax documents for me.

I have their federal id and even though I no longer have an account with them, I made sure to record my total earnings for the year. I read that I need to file it as a 1099-MISC, but turbo tax is asking for information that I don't know how to answer.

As you didn't receive a form 1099-MISC, don't enter it as a form 1099-MISC in TurboTax.

You'll need to report this income as Other Reportable Income.

In TurboTax Online, open your return and follow these steps:

  1. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages and Income
  2. Locate the Less Common Income section and click on the arrow on the right
  3. Click Start next to Miscellaneous Income at the bottom
  4. On the next page, click Start next to Other Reportable Income.
