How do i import previous year taxes

If you used the CD/download product installed on your desktop last year and this year, just start a new return and TurboTax will ask if you want to transfer from last year. 

beginning new year tax on cd....did not ask me to import previous year....how do I get this

Do you have the 2019  tax return file ending in .tax2019 on your computer?  You can only transfer at the very beginning before you start a 2020 return.  Go to File-New Tax Return and start over.  It should ask if you want to transfer or let you browse to  the .tax2019 file.
