How do I import 1099-Div for 2017 into my 2017 Turbo Tax from TD Ameritrade?

I am doing my 2017 taxes and trying to import my 1099 from TD Ameritrade.  It's telling me it's not available until January 2020.  It's obviously not smart enough to figure out that I am using 2017 Turbo Tax so I need 2017 information that should be readily available.

I hope there is not another disconnect because I had to manually enter all of 2016 information for cost basis, acquired date, and sales of stocks and it was a NIGHTMARE!

TurboTax, please tell me I can still import information from TD Ameritrade please.

Importing any type of 2017 Form 1099 or W-2 was discontinued after the end of the 2017 tax year.  The forms will have to be entered manually.

After the end of the filing season for a particular year, that year's Forms 1099 are no longer available for import and you must enter those Forms 1099 manually.

Thank you for your reply.  I was told otherwise by Turbo Tax.  Very disappointing.  I'll prepare for the nightmare of doing it manually.

I don't know why Turbo Tax doesn't make this technology available for a least a few years - because you must file within 3 years to get a refund when the government owes you money.

Thank you again.
