How do I handle unpaid wage settlement? I received one sheet with 1099-MISC, W-2 from Settlement Administrator a W-2 from former employer that was sued.

I received two W-2's and one 1099-Misc on one sheet. The W-2 from the Settlement Administrator is filled out with correct figures in all the boxes but the W-2 from the former employer that was sued is mostly blank in the boxes where one would expect wages and withheld figures expect for an entry in Box 14 CA SDI. This should be correct since I didn't work there last year but the settlement finalized last year. Turbo tax gives me an error on the W-2 from the former employer becuase  box 1 is blank. Do I need to enter this w-2 that is mostly blank or should I only enter the W-2 from the Settlement Administrator and enter the 1099-MISC?

Thanks! So, not even enter add an entry for the W-2 from the former employer? Just add the CA SDI to the W-2 from Settlement Administrator?

Yes - That reflects all compensation; handled same way when you get a ted W-2 with missing elements.

Just add the CA SDI to the 'good' W-2.
