How do I get the 1099misc to just accept the amount without linking it to a business?I was told to go to the Jump Link and i cannot find that.

Go to Wages & Income->Other Common Income->Income from Form 1099-MISC and start or whatever.

Then in the interview, every time TurboTax asks if this is for a business, just say no. I think you'll have to do this 2 or 3 times before you're done.
