How do I get passed the message that says we've hit a snag in the add w2 section? I'm a first time user and I'm considering just going to a tax place for my taxes.

TurboTax is aware of the issue. You are still able to work on other parts of your tax return if you click continue. Once the issue is resolved, you'll be able to put the w2 information in. The FAQ page below will allow you to sign up for email notifications when the problem is resolved.
