For people searching currently, while this seems like it is a valid solution, it is not. That link doesn't exist past clicking on "claimant access".
This link will take you to entering information on the Oklahoma Unemployment site where you can enter information to access the Form 1099-G. https://unemployment.state.ok.us/W3.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f
I have checked this link and I can change my address, but downloading the 1099-g does not appear to be available. Twitter for OESC says these forms are being mailed out starting last week.
The law does not require you to have access until the end of the month. The state could still be in the process of uploading forms and preparing the website. Continue to check here.
Once received, it will be taxed as ordinary income and will be reported on Schedule 1.
I am not sure if this is working this year. I am unable to access it at the time
Hi I am not seeing any information about my 1099-G and the link provided that says click "here" is a bad link. Does anyone have any info? There's like 4 days left of the month and I need my form to file my taxes!
Per @ddaven12 as an alternative you can contact the Oklahoma Unemployment Security Commission at (855)962-4651 to request the form by phone.
If you received unemployment compensation during the year, you should contact your state unemployment commission for a copy of your Form 1099-G. Often this document will be available online if your state has an online system for your account or there may be information about the availability of the Form 1099-G on the unemployment commission website. The Form 1099-G is required to be available to you by January 31st.
This is not accurate. The site clearly states that you cannot electronically access your 1099-g nor do they do not release a 1099-G through the website, you have to call OKUI and hassle with their 10hr wait times or visit a local office, of which there are 5 in the state.
Although the peripheral OKUI website states that it is accessible in the way you purport, it is purposely inaccurate and misleading.
This is from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission:
"You can access a digital version of your 1099-G form on The OK Unemployment website, click here.
If you have trouble accessing it, contact OESC’s Unemployment Service Center at (405) 525-1500. for assistance or contact your nearest Oklahoma Works office."
