How do I get Intuit help for a product I paid for (2023 taxes)? The chat & phone AI mostly insists I'm using free software. The 1 time I got a human, we got disconnected

If you would like to speak with someone from TurboTax, you can request a call if you have TurboTax Live or add Plus benefits to the Free Edition. Refer to the TurboTax Help article How do I contact TurboTax?

Unfortunately that doesn't help. I paid for the software (2023 tax software). But when I call or go into chat the stupid AI keeps insisting that I can't have help because it thinks I'm using free software. Which I'm not

The 2023 desktop application is bugging-out. At a certain point it puts up an error message, something like "We seem to have hit a snag, you should go back to the previous step to make sure everything was entered correctly". Except the message won't go away, and so I can do nothing in the app. I can't go back, forward, use any of the app's UI, I can't even quit it unless I force-quit it via the Task Manager

 

Every year I hit a notable bug in TT. And every year it's a nightmare getting Intuit to get a work-around. Except this year I'm not even allowed to talk to anyone. Even though I paid for this app
