When you are preparing your tax return and are on the page that you would like to flag, please go to My account and select Tools, then select Flags- the program will ask you to type in a title and your notes. This will save the page.

To retrieve the "flags", follow the same steps, you will see a list of flags that you created; click on the one you would like to work on. (you must be logged in and IN your tax return...or you won't see My account>Tools)

Note: Before you e-file, make sure you remove all flags, as you cannot e-file with an active flag... same steps for removal.

I can't find "My account" or "Tools" on TurboTax 2018.

It's not in TurboTax 2019 either!

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.
