How do I find an employer EIN without a w-2, from a check?

I never received a W-2 form. I only have the paychecks they gave me. I only worked for them once and not even for a year. How do I find an EIN from a check?

You can call the former employer or file Form SS-8 to have the IRS get involved.

If there were no deductions from your paychecks for social security and medicare taxes, you were treated as an independent contractor and would not get a w-2. whether you should have been treated as an I.C. is a different question
