How do I fill the exempt-interest dividends when 1099 DIV/INT info from Chase does not have specific state (I am in TX)?

Select "More Than One State" from the dropdown and do not check the box below the dropdown.

Since you live in a state without an income tax (Texas), it's irrelevant.  You can put anything. But, "more than one state" ("Multiple States" in the  online program)  is the correct way.
