New York City income is the amount of wages earned while you were a resident of New York City.

Is this asking for the total income earned while living in New York City/Yonkers? Or the Income earned from NYC/Yonkers sources while living there?

Allocate City Income
Because your residence changed during the tax year, you must allocate your income based on the time you spent as a resident of New York City or Yonkers.

The first, your income earned while living in New York City/Yonkers.
