How do I file an extension if I've already started my return, but I'm overwhelmed?

I'm a small business, llc, not much income, mostly still just expenses. I'm lost. I need to file an extension.

An extension will give you more time to prepare your Form 1040---until October 15 if you need it.  But it does not give you extra time to pay.   If you will owe tax you need to pay your estimated tax due by April 15, 2025.
