How do I file a tax return if I am on SSI and I need one for stimulus

The stimulus will be paid to you the way your SSI is paid to you. You have to do nothing to get the stimulus.

According to the IRS:

"You receive Social Security, Railroad Retirement, or SSDI benefits. The IRS will automatically send you an Economic Impact Payment."

If you receive SSI---and do not get a SSA1099---you can use this portal on the IRS site:

Confusion results when people refer to Social Security benefits as "SSI"  because they are not the same thing and are not paid in the same way--especially for the stimulus money.
