You are not required to Upload anything to your tax return.  You can enter any Tax Documents (such as a W-2, 1099-G, etc.) by manually typing in the information from the form in that section in TurboTax.

If you start a TurboTax Online return, you answer some basic questions to get started.  You can transfer your 2019 return if you used TurboTax last year, but you are not required to.

I dont want to upload ANY info but manually enter it as I have done in the past. Why is Turbo Tax forcing me to do so this year? Why wont the form let me just type the numbers? When I try to go to 'search' it takes me back to the same page. Feeling very frustrated right now!

You don't have to import anything in TurboTax.   You have that option for some forms, but none of those are required.   You have the option to manually enter every tax form you have.   What are you entering?  Or where are you at in the program that is forcing you to upload something.    Look for the button that says ''I will type it myself''.      @shoshanita

OK so I typed I will type it myself but it loops back to where Turbo Tax wants to import things. Turbo Tax wasn't this way before. They need to work on their new navigation system as it is messed up! This is where I am at now:

Mortgage Interest, Refinancing and Insurance

Here is the information about your mortgage interest you've entered so far

Then when I try to move on and push Review (only highlighted button) that is when the "Get ready to be impressed" page. Well I am not impressed, I am frustrated.
