How do I enter a negative number? I took a small loss on a K-1 and when I checked my 1040, Turbo Tax had added that amount to my income. It should have subtracted it.

what type of k-1 and what line number?  normally a minus sign is all that is needed but if a line is a deduction to get a subtraction no sign whatsoever,
