how do i enter 1099 int and 1099 div manually. Only given option to download. till this year was able to click on each 1099 and enter manually. i have turbotax 2024 Premier version

To report interest income received -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on
Under Interest and Dividends
On Interest on 1099-INT, click on the start or update button


Or enter interest income in the Search box locate in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to interest income

 

Desktop editions 2024 -

On the screen Did you have investment income in 2024?, Click on Yes
On the screen Let Us Enter Your Bank and Brokerage Tax Documents, click on Skip Import
On the screen OK, let's start with one investment type, click on Interest and Continue

 

To report dividend income received -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on

Per this screen shot in the Premier TurboTax product, you should see an option to skip the import of your 1099 form, which will then allow you to manually enter your Form 1099-INT/DIV information. If you don't see that, you may need to clear the cookies and cache on your computer and update your program if you are using the desktop version of TurboTax.
