How do I enter 1099-B information from Edward Jones? I have tried typing it myself and it says I must use one of the listed institutions.

In TurboTax Premier

  • Select Wages & Income.
  • Scroll down to Investment Income select 1099-B or Broker Statements click on visit all/update.
  • Follow the screen prompts until you get to the page Let us enter your investment sale info.
  • Check the radio button I'll type it in my self.
  • On the next page select my bank/brokerage isn't here from the dropdown menu.
  • You will now be asked to enter the name of your bank or brokerage.
  • Follow the page prompts to enter your Form 1099-B information.
