If you want to import your investment information from Fidelity:

  • Click on Search
  • Type in 1099-B
  • Click on "Jump to 1099b"
  • Follow the interview to import your Fidelity tax information

Turbo tax premier shows imported stock and option transactions from Fidelity investments on the input sections, but it is missing some of the transactions on the output (tax returns).  Please advise.  Thank you

You might try deleting and importing again. If that doesn't capture them all, then you may need to enter the missing transactions yourself via the interview.

Thanks DMark M1 for getting back to me the other day.

Unfortunately, I tried to delete and reimport the 1099s into Turbotax several times but I am still encountering the same problem.  The problem is that the 1099 from Fidelity imports completely to Turbotax's worksheets only (input), but it does not completely come out on the Schedule D (Form 8949).  I am missing many of the securities.  I think I am just going to mail the documents in via Form 8453 which was not my purpose since I paid an extra amount for the premier product.

I understand and the 8453 is a good option.  Curious, if there is anything common about the transactions that are not showing up vice the ones that are?

Hi, my scenario is TT business, a 1065, this is TT business 2021, there is no jump to 1099-b in the search.

I opened a Fidelity trading account under this LLC's EIN and am filing a 1065.  LOL how do I import these transactions?

Tnx curt

No, importing stock transactions is not available in the Turbo Tax business  products at this time.  Please refer to this Turbo Tax link for further verification.

I earlier downloaded data to TT for myself but now want to download my wife's Fidelity data. TT is not showing me any options to connect for a download from any institution.

If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser.

If you use the Brave browser, you have to turn off the Brave Shields.
