How do I deduct costs of upgrading CDL license? The class & fees: $6700. I paid 100%. The school was not accedited & there is no T-3. Was done to improve skills.

CORRECTION: 1098-T... not T-3. 

Improving skills for a new job is not deductible. Training required to keep your job is an employee expense. It is not deductible on the federal but might be for your state.

Since the school is not accredited, it does not qualify for the education credit.
