How do I clear/restart my state tax form? I have Premier. Its for 2019.

Yes, I have not filed my 2019 taxes...

I've pretty much finished my entry for fed and state (Mass) but I'm seeing some weird numbers on my state return and want to restart it from scratch. Since I've already activated the state return I cant delete it based on what I've read.

How can I clear my state return and restart?

Thank you!

See this TurboTax support FAQ for clearing/deleting a state tax return when using the TurboTax desktop software for Windows - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/state-taxes/clear-state-return-turbotax-windows-software/L78pS5sMt_US_en_US?uid=l9ebthy8

Well....Assuming you are using the "Desktop" software, since 2019 can only be done using the Desktop software at this time...

In the Windows desktop software, you would (I suspect the MAC would be similar):

1)  open that tax file

2)  Go to the upper left corner, and click on "File"

3)  Select "Remove State Return" from the dropdown menu.

4)  Click on the state return that you want to remove.  (Some folks have more than one state in their file)

5) hit the "Remove" button.

This removes all of the state return and any data in that particular file, but doesn't remove the state software that you may have already downloaded as a free set...or perhaps paid for.

Thank you.

I tried this suggestion. The 'Remove State Return' option is grayed out and can't be selected...

Please disregard prior. I went to Forms and it worked. Thanks again.
