How do I check off the Maryland Health Connection option if I want health insurance?

To mark your MD return to receive information about health insurance, please follow these steps:

1. As you are going through the MD return in TurboTax, you will see a screen, Taxpayer's Health Care Coverage.
2. Mark the box that you do not have health care coverage.
3. On the next screen, Taxpayer's Health Care Coverage, mark the Yes radio button.
4. Enter your e-mail address in the box that appears and click Continue.

If you have already gone through the MD return, you can get back to the health insurance section by clicking the Edit box next to General Info on the Your 2019 Maryland taxes are ready for us to check screen.  Continue to the screens mentioned above.

 

 

By doing this, you authorize the Comptroller of Maryland to share information from your tax return with the Health Benefit Exchange
