How do I change the level of post graduate achieved by a dependent?

When completing my state return, turbo tax returned an answer that my daughter's tuition costs were not qualified because she was studying for a masters, PhD, or other graduate level degree, but that is not true.

I can't figure up where it came up with that assessment, or where I may have entered her year she started school.

Please go back to the "Here's you education summary screen".

Click Federal,

Deductions & Credits,

scroll down to "Education"

scroll down to "Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)",

Click Edit next to the student's name, continue through the interview to land on the "Here's you education summary screen".

Scroll down on this screen to the last option "Education Information" and click Edit.
