How do I change my home address after file

I moved in 2024 however I realized put the old address and checked didn't moved. I tried to fix it by refile but Im not allowed to do it. The address letters are gray. I have to certify my de facto marriage this year, so my home address is very important.  What can I have to do?

You will need to change your address with the IRS.  Go to this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/faqs/irs-procedures/address-changes

You will have to send a change of address to the IRS so that the IRS has the mailing address to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.

 

(It is too late now---but you should have entered the correct mailing address in MY INFO before you e-filed)

Not sure what you mean by having to verify your "de facto marriage."
