How do I change my filing type from self employed to regular

You can change your version of TurboTax Online by using the Clear & Start Over option by following the TurboTax FAQ below regarding how to "Clear & Start Over". However, please make sure that there is not a reason that you need TurboTax’s Self-Employed version, such as having a 1099-misc form that needs to be filed. I have included below a TurboTax FAQ regarding who is considered self-employed in case you would like to review it.

What if my wife worked for a company but the business owner paid her in cash and she did not receive a 1099 misc or K? Does she still need to file as self employed?

Even if you don't get any 1099s you are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on all the income you receive.
