How do I change my daughters tax return to say that she is my dependent?

Here is how to change your daughters tax return to say that she is your dependent.

1. Go to the My Info section of the return.
2. On the Personal info summary page, select edit next to her name.
3. You will see the question Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return. 
4. Select Yes.
