How do I change my account preferences to STOP Turbo Tax/Intuit from sending me promotion / sales emails?

To change your account preferences in TurboTax, please follow these steps:

• Sign into your email account and view the message you received from TurboTax.
• Scroll to the bottom of the email, and click on the link "Manage Preferences". 
• From there you will be taken to a screen that says "Manage My Email Communications".
• Click on "Manage Preferences"
• You will see a list of the types of emails TurboTax sends.  Click the circled X on the screen to unsubscribe from the types of email messages you do not want to receive.
• Click on Save Preferences.

FYI this does not work on mobile. The page you’re taken to on mobile does not include any way to change email preferences and requesting the desktop site does not work. 

You can change the email notifications that you receive from TurboTax by following these steps:

1. While in TurboTax,
2. Open your Intuit Account listed on the lower left side of your screen,
3. Select Data & Privacy,
4. Scroll up until you see TurboTax,
5. Select View,
6. On this screen, you can turn off all notifications from TurboTax.
