How do i change filing status to head of household

After you answer all the questions about yourself and your dependents at the beginning of your return, TurboTax will let you know if your situation qualifies for Head of Household. To review the qualifications, please click here. 

In the My Info section of the program you have to enter a qualifying person as a dependent before the program will ask questions to see if you are eligible for Head of Household filing status.
