How do I bring 2019 TurboTax online info into 2020 Desktop (for Mac)?

I did my 2019 taxes on TurboTax online. I am now using Turbotax Desktop on Mac to do my 2020 taxes. How do I bring the online 2019 information over to desktop 2020?

Thanks!

You must be in the wrong spot.  It's under Home not Documents

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download .tax file

You need to download the .tax file from online to transfer into the Desktop program.  Log into your account.  Under Your tax returns & documents, select Download .tax file (not the PDF) for the prior year you want and save it to your computer. Then start a new blank return, go up to File-New and transfer from the .tax file you saved.

Or another way is to start a 2020 Online return and transfer into that.  Then you can download the .tax2020 file from online and just OPEN it in the Desktop program.

Thanks, but I only see "Download tax PDF" under 2019. I don't see a way to download the .tax file. See attached screenshot.

Thanks! I had to advance past the "Now, let's get started page". I had clicked on Continue that because I didn't plan on do my taxes in TurboTax Online.
