When o check hers was being mailed out today we filed jointly and information is the same only thing different is our mailing address. When she checks the new address it works. When I do nothing? When I use the old address tells me not available? Hers either new or old address shows the mailing date? I thought it said that joint returns would be identical and how come it’s not direct deposited? IRS can’t contact them about this and seems I’m the only person dealing with this issue? How can this be that messed up? Yet we can’t ask about any known issues going on because they mess up?
The IRS had to put together the second stimulus payment process with very little lead time, so some errors are probably inevitable. The only thing you can do is keep checking the IRS Get My Payment tool for updates. Keep in mind though that the IRS only updates the information once a day, overnight.
If you and your wife do not receive your payments, you can make an adjustment on your 2020 tax return for stimulus payments you qualify for, but have not received.

@censoreddeadman- - while this is painful, as the IRS had to get this done in just a few weeks to meet the law requirements, the good news is the 'fix' is rather painless. It's in the 2020 tax return so they thought that part through and this will not require amendments, special filings or whatnot.
just follow @Irene2805 's instructions. the credit will appear on Line 30 of Form 1040 and will increase your refund (or reduce what you owe)
