We are filing 2020 tax returns now, which require your 2019 AGI to efile.

I’m trying to determine my 2020 AGI.  I already know this for previous years.

How to find your AGI

To obtain a full copy of your filed and processed tax return (including income forms such as W-2s and 1099s), print and complete IRS Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return. Be sure to follow the instructions on page 2 of the printout. The IRS charges $50 for each copy. Please allow up to 75 days for delivery.

The 2020 AGI is on your 2020 federal tax return, Form 1040 Line 11

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Go to Irs.gov and set up an account.  Then, log in and view your 2020 return in the "view transcript " Area.  List "adjusted gross income" as the reason to download or view transcript. Hope this helps!!

I did my 2021 taxes with turbo tax. I need my Adjusted Gross Income in order to do this year's taxes but I moved since then and lost my copy and the turbo tax disk.
