How can I determine whether my scheduled "taxes due" direct payment to the IRS is confirmed in turbotax?

I filed an extension and enter a date to withdrawal from my bank account. That said, I first entered the same bank information when I initially thought to file without an extension. So, I wonder if I have two scheduled withdrawals - one for the approved extension and  another for the not filed return.

Nothing is going to happen with information you entered for  a return you did not file.  That information has never been transmitted to the IRS.

Thank you for the response/answer.

turbotax's FAQ is unclear as how to verify a direct pay (pay) to the IRS as the later has not sent a confirmation for me to follow.

@boland0802 The IRS does not send you a thank you note.   If you paid directly on the IRS site then your own credit card or bank statement is your proof that you paid.
