How can i chat with a tax expert without paying

You cannot chat with an expert for free.   If you want help from a tax expert you can upgrade to a version of "Live" software.   You can also post questions here in the user forum to get help.  We cannot see your screen or your tax return, so be complete and specific.

Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition.  If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there.  Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.
