How Can I Avoid Owing Taxes As a Social Security Disability Recipient?

Hello,

I receive Social Security disability and as a retiree I also receive a pension from my employer. How can I avoid owing taxes because of the income I receive from Social security?

Social Security Disability payments are taxable income. Not know how much you are receiving and how much pension income is, I cannot determine what your taxable income is and how much the income taxes on it may be. When you estimate that, you can have Social Security Administration withhold on your disability payments. This is also true of your pension from your employer.
