How can I access the TurboTax input form. I submitted a W2 electronically and I want to see the detail of that one specific W2 (don't have paper)?

I have several other documents such as 1099 Rs. I want to dee the details such as Federal taxes paid just for the W2.

If you have not filed the 2024 tax return then click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen, then click on Wages & Income and then click on Revisit for the W-2 you entered.

I have already filed my 2024 taxes and can only see the completed tax filing which is why I am asking my question. My question is still seeking an answer - I want to see the TurboTax input form that I filled out that created the final documents.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2024 online tax return.  You can see the W-2 that was entered,  Under No circumstances should you add, change or delete anything in the tax return that was filed.  If you need to make any changes then you must file an amended tax return.

Thank you I did as directed using the Add State. Unfortunately it only looped through the verification process before the signing off process.  I ended up contacting my prior employer to get my W2 in paper form.
going forward it would be great if Turbo Tax gave a view to the form. Perhaps show the locked in information like you do for the prior year when we start filling in for a new tax year .  Access give us using mostly electronic input, details to the information that the final tax document documents don’t.

You may find it convenient in the future to get a Transcript from the IRS. Many forms (like the W-2) are copied to the IRS, as well as all the calculations can be found.

Note that a Transcript (there are several types) is only the line numbers, descriptions, and the data. If you want exact copies, you have to pay for them.

The nice thing about a transcript is that you get everything the IRS has on you, not just what forms you got in the mail.
