Hi Turbotax, I have a question about report capital gain/loss for my joint tax account. Can I include both my losses and my spouse's losses when I report on my invest?

Example: my short term investment loss: 10K, and my spouse investment gain 5K on tax year. Does I offset 10K of my loss for my spouse? Thanks.

When you file a JOINT return there is no his or her anything even if you have separate broker accounts ... all income and deductions are entered on the same return so if one broker statement has a gain and another has a loss they automatically net against each other.
