From the list of products you outlined above, it appears you were charged 169.99 for the Federal return in Live Self-Employed, 39.99 for State, and 59.99 for MAX Benefits.  That would total  269.97, with the remaining amount likely sales tax.

When paying those fees out of the Federal refund, there is an additional 39.99 service fee (44.99 for California filers).

You can discuss your fees with TurboTax Support, and tell them you didn't know you were using the Live add-on to Self-Employed.  I don't know what they will say.  Stress that you didn't use any of its features.

Hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern) 7 days/week.

Have you already paid and filed?

You aren't using regular Self-Employed.  You appear to be using Live Self-Employed, which is an upgrade with extra features, including live on-demand help from a CPA/EA tax pro during return preparation and a final review of your return prior to filing, which they will sign.

Live Self-Employed is currently discounted at 169.99 for a Federal return and 39.99 for a state return.  (Prices will rise on March 1).

I don't know what the rest of your fees are.  Did you choose to pay the fees out of the Federal refund?  If so, there is an additional 39.99 service fee (44.99 for California filers.)

Or did you choose the add-on package MAX Benefits (Audit Protection and ID protection, etc.)?

I can tell you how to look at your fees once I know if you have already paid and filed or not.   If you haven't paid, you may be able to remove something.

What do you see when you check your fees this way?   What all is listed for your charges?

Log in and go to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents."  Choose 2018.  Then the link "View order details."

That should show you what products you were charged for.  But the list will not show the additional 39.99 (or 44.99) fee to pay out of the Federal refund.

If you were in Live Self-Employed and didn't use any of its features, I can tell you how to discuss your fees with TurboTax Support.
