Hi, I moved and won’t get IRS mail. My refund is under review. Can I do anything? Can you help? Thanks!

Hi, I checked my IRS refund status and got this message: "Action Required We received your tax return and are reviewing it. If we need more info, we’ll send a notice by mail. If none is needed, we’ll continue processing your refund." I no longer live at the address on my tax return and won’t receive any IRS letters. Is there anything I can do? Can you help, even for a fee? Thanks! 🙂

Yes,

You will want to send a Change of Address to the Post Office (USPS) but you should also send a Change of Address directly to the IRS using Form 8822.

You also can try CALLING THE IRS and letting them know you moved at 800-829-1040

I also suggest you set up an online account with the IRS.  Establishing an IRS Online account will allow you to view copies of any correspondence they are trying to send you, as well as give you the ability to access your tax transcripts and make payments.
