Hi, I keep getting my state return rejected with the following reason: Form 540NR Line 91 (ISRPenalty) must be present unless line 6 (ClaimedAsDependent) is checked 'Yes'. Turbotax says There is an internal processing error with your return. This issue is resolved in a product release scheduled for February 18, 2021. And i use the web version but had no luck, tried several times and still receiving rejection

I'm getting this exact error. I've tried refiling the return but it keeps getting rejected. I work and live overseas, so I just bought a US number to try to set up a call with a representative to no avail. Can someone please fix this?

I would just like to say that this problem appears to be resolved. I resubmitted my return today and it was accepted.

Same error here. The Turbo software is literally suppressing my correct responses and replacing with INCORRECT info! There's nothing I can do because my responses are 100% accurate. Every time I click that I've lived in a FOREIGN COUNTRY for the past 12 months, Turbo keeps auto-replacing with "United States" AND unchecking the month of April as one of the 12 months of my continued residence abroad. I don't know what to do. It's been 2 wks of running into this same error, and this is all after overcoming their other software error of filing/paying for Federal separately by troubleshooting. Why does Turbo keep suppressing my correct inputs and replacing with WRONG info????

I also had the same issue of TurboTax replacing the where I've lived box from "Foreign Country" to "United States" and also unchecking the month of April! Sounds like it's a reoccurring issue. Have you tried using the web version? Maybe it hasn't been fixed for the software yet.
