Hi I have been on Unemployment since March and on the Unemployment form that I got from the UI office is that I have like 19,000 and now I have to pay like $700! help!

The 19,000 was the amount they apparently said i received from UI, that doesnt seem right. I also got the stimulus and the extra 300. Now so far I have to pay like 700!! how can people on UI afford to pay this back?

Unfortunately, unemployment income is taxable.  If you do not think the amount the state reported is correct, you will have to contact them directly.  If you cannot afford the taxes, you can ask the IRS for a payment plan and other options.  See What if I can't pay my taxes?  You can choose to have the state withhold some of your benefits so that you do not have a tax liability at the end of the year.
